Disability Accommodation (respite)

Registered NDIS Service Provider, has short term accommodation options (respite) for children aged 5 to 12 (Ricky Stuart House) and for teenagers and young adults (Marymead cottages - Narrabundah).

Marymead's staff at Ricky Stuart House, a purpose built, state of the art facility, work with children, their families and support networks to ensure a collaborative relationship to achieve outcomes specific to each child.

• Ricky Stuart House staff support kids to:
• Participate in community activities and social outings
• Engage in activities that enhance health and well-being
• Develop independence in daily living skills, personal activities, schooling and skill development

Short term accommodation (respite) for teenagers and young adults is provided within Marymead's cottages at Narrabundah.

The aim is to ensure that each person's stay is enjoyable and has a focus on nurturing independence away from home.

Participants are supported to:

• Participate in community activities and social outings
• Engage in activities that enhance health and well-being
• Develop independence in daily living skills, personal activities, schooling and skill development

Experienced staff offer a wide range of options to assist participants to get their best from their NDIS plan offering support coodination services, namely:

• Supports Connection
• Supports Coordination
• Specialist Coordination of Supports

Staff will also work with you to determine how you want to be supported to coordinate the services you purchase with your NDIS funding and with the management of your plans, namely:

• Self
• Agency
• Financial Intermediary
