Meeting Place - ACT and Surrounds

Meeting Place is a like minded community of handmade makers, designers and vintage sellers in the ACT and surrounding areas. Meeting Place provides a friendly, inclusive and safe space that sustainably encourages, supports and promotes its community of local makers, designers and vintage sellers.

Our values and missions are:
Community: Like minded local community of handmade makers, designers and vintage sellers in the ACT and surrounding regions
Inclusive: A friendly, encouraging and all inclusive community of handmade makers, designers and vintage sellers that is only limited by location. We accept and include people from all different backgrounds and do not limit it to: gender, race or business status. We encourage hobbyists and young or established businesses.
Support: Safe, approachable and encouraging space to talk about all things handmade and vintage not limiting to: seller logistics, etsy and running a small business. We encourage the discussion of familiar interests and hobbies as well.
Promote: We encourage and advocate the promotion of our community, our sellers products, businesses, events and milestones amongst our team and within the wider ACT community.
Sustainable: We encourage our team and local community to be environmentally conscious by supporting locally made and sourced products. We advocate for reducing, reusing and recycling wherever possible in the running of our team and our events.
