About Us
Provides assistance to ACT sentenced prisoners, released prisoners and their families. The Court Assistance and Referral Service (CARS) offers a support and referral service to persons charged with offences in the ACT Magistrates or Supreme Courts, but does not provide legal advice. Also provides the Visitor Support Service at the Alexander Maconochie Centre, which offers support and referral to visitors and detainees of the prison.
