About Us

This is a friendly club which encourages the cultivation and propagation of cacti and other succulent plants in the Canberra region. We share our experiences and knowledge through our meetings, newsletters and other activities. Our members come from all parts of the ACT and surrounding communities. Some are school students; others photographers, artists, horticulturalists, general gardeners and many others. We are all interested in growing cactus and succulents. Some of us have been growing succulents for many decades.

Promotes cultivation of cacti and succulent plants. Usually meets 10:30am-1:00pm third Sunday of the month at at 70 Maclaurin Crescent, Chifley, ACT.

Visitors are always welcome at these meetings. If you wish, email us beforehand for details.

Meetings include talks and demonstrations. Members share their knowledge, ideas and experience of growing cacti and succulents in the Canberra climate. Refreshments are provided and members may borrow books and journals from the library. Books, plants and pots are often available for sale at meetings.  We have lucky door prizes, and show-and-tell.  Bring your flowering succulent, we'd love to see it.
