Ginninderra Toastmasters

At Ginninderra club we are passionate about learning better public speaking, listening and leadership skills. The good news is that these are all learnt skills.

You can learn them too!

Members receive evaluation from peers and and with lots of practice improve in a friendly,  environment. Basic eduational and leadership manuals are provided on joining.

Then, after we grasp the basics we move on to more advanced manuals. (Choice of 15 topics)

Toastmasters are often curious people, who love to learn but don't  take themselves too seriously.  We laugh as we learn.

At each meeting you will get the opportunity to:

• Take part in Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking 1-2 minutes)

•  Present a prepared speech (Manual provided)

•  Present an educational training session

• Take on a leadership meeting role (Manual provided)

•  Receive/give constructive evaluations (This is how we learn)

If you think Toastmasters could be for you we encourage you to come along to our next meeting. Visitors are welcome to observe or take part. Membership is open to all.

Ginninderra Toastmasters Club serves the immediate suburbs of Aranda, Cook, Macquarie, Bruce and the wider community of Belconnen and Northern Canberra.

Our meetings are held at the Southern Cross Club Jamison/Macquarie every second Monday commencing at 7pm. Visitors are most welcome.
