The Lodge – Residential Respite Service For Men
The CatholicCare Lodge Respite Program supports men over age of 18 years who have mental illness with or without drug & alcohol issues. This program has the capacity to provide accommodation for up to 4 residents who can stay for up to 8 weeks. The Lodge Respite Program aims to help people who need a safe environment in order to stabilise their mental health prior to going back to their permanent accommodation. The Lodge Respite Program residents do not pay for their accommodation. Utilities and meals are provided by the program for the length of their stay.
To be eligible for the respite program a person will:
- Be affected by mental illness and be with or without alcohol & drug issues
- Be over 18 years old
- Have permanent accommodation in the ACT
- Be in need of a safe environment in order to stabilise mental wellbeing
