The Hub in Phillip

The Hub in Phillip is a multi-purpose social space for people with and without an intellectual disability to experience mutually enhancing interaction.

First and foremost, the Hub in Phillip is a place where people living with an intellectual disability will feel a strong sense of ownership and connection. As a central and defining principle, all activities will either involve or benefit people living with an intellectual disability.

We hope to generate real business opportunities for people with an intellectual disability, many of whom are known for their strong work ethic. We envisage a co-working space where people can develop and participate in a range of small business activities.

Along with work, appreciating culture is a truly human pleasure and a great way to meet people from all walks of life. This venue will enrich the relationships of many people, with and without intellectual disability, for years to come.
