ACT Bilingual Education Alliance

Supports and encourages bilingualism. Promotes family based bilingualism as well as formal bilingual education programs, from preschool years throughout primary and secondary schooling, both mainstream and community based. Organises talks and social events for families raising children in more than one language and others who recognise the importance of learning languages. Works with staff of schools and preschools with bilingual programs, as well as parents who have children attending these programs. Also encourages adults to maintain or develop their bilingual skills.
