About Us
Here at The Personnel Group we understand the barriers that you may be faced with when either returning to or maintaining employment.
When it comes to employment, work can be very important for maintaining your mental health and also aids in recovery.
Paid employment can provide many benefits to your mental health:
- Increased sense of purpose and control over your life
- Increased self-esteem and confidence
- Meeting new people
- Having money to make choices
- Developing skills and career opportunities
- Making a difference in the community
We will assist you to discuss your condition with your employer, and negotiate changes to your work structure if required. We can also organise mental health training for your co-workers and employer if they would like.
We will work with you, and if you choose, your local mental health provider, to develop a personalised plan for you to return to work, which will identify and support your employment goals.
We provide you with a confidential and supportive service, where you will have your own dedicated Case Manager who will oversee your journey with us. We believe that you shouldn’t have to tell your story and circumstances to multiple staff members – our Case Manager will be your primary contact.
We can assist you with training and pre-employment skills, job search and interview techniques. When we are successful in supporting you to find the right job, we will be there to assist you with any workplace training and overall support - your success is our success!
