Helps families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with someone whose drinking is a problem.

Young people's recovery program Alateen provides support for teenagers affected by the problem drinking of a parent or other family member.

Program of recovery adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and based on the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Service.

Membership requirement is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Daily meetings in various locations around Canberra.
