Yulu-Burri-Ba is a community controlled health service that provides primary health care and associated health services to the community of North Stradbroke Island and Brisbane’s Bayside suburbs. Our health services extend beyond a doctor’s visit as every effort is made to deliver innovative ways of working with the community to improve health outcomes.

Medical Services
Yulu-Burri-Ba provides a culturally safe and comprehensive range of bulk-billed medical services. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team, including male and female doctors work hard to close the gap and improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community.

Health Service Programs
Yulu-Burri-Ba provides access to a range of health service programs to enhance the overall health and wellbeing of our clients. Our programs sit alongside our general practice and are designed to meet the community’s needs.

Visiting Medical Services
Yulu-Burri-Ba has a wide range of health professionals who visit our clinics on a regular basis. They work closely with our medical team including Doctors, Nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers to make sure the best possible care is provided.

 
Social & Family Wellbeing Services
Yulu-Burri- Ba’s Social Health program provides confidential and culturally appropriate support of individuals and families to build their capacity and improve functioning and well-being through the provision of counselling, psychological services, human service supports, specific treatments and family wellbeing services.
