Financial Ombudsman Service Limited

The Insurance Ombudsman Service is a national service which assists with enquiries and complaints regarding any general insurance matters. The service assists in resolving disputes between consumers and insurers or other financial service providers that are members of the service. It also assists in resolving disputes between uninsured drivers and another person's insurance company in relation to motor vehicle property damage (ie third party claim). The Service is free, however, if you are uninsured a fee of $150 applies to disputes relating to third party claims.
