About Us

Dear John Film and Theatre Company is what we have all been waiting for: Epic. Bold. Passionate. Big. Explosive. Consuming.  Stories.  Theatre.  Film. Life…Yes, the good, the bad, the ugly and all the shades of grey in-between.  Despite our best intentions, the unexpected always happens, and it’s messy.  Just like John Lennon said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”  This is the kind of art we desire to make.
A company for passionate and hard working performers looking for performing arts training and experiences with heart, edge and roar.  We welcome all actors, from beginners to experienced, who are committed and passionate artists willing to work on theatre and film pieces from conception to fruition and beyond.  With an emphasis on creating new work, which explores themes and stories derived and inspired from the lives of the actors themselves, Dear John hopes to engage and entertain the young, the willing and the restless.  Directed by ASPAFTV co-founding Director, Amanda Hardwick, Dear John aims to combine performing arts training and real life theatre and film experience in an interdependent entity.
