About Us

Inclusion Support Qld managed by KU Children's Services in partnership with Cairns and District Child Care Development Association Inc, is part of the new Inclusion Support Programme funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.

The programme aims to address participation barriers for children with additional needs through building the capacity and capability of educators to provide and embed quality inclusive practices within their daily programs.

The ISP will assist Early Childhood and Child Care services to include children with additional needs by providing tailored inclusion advice and support from the QLD state-wide Inclusion Agency, access to specialist equipment to facilitate participation, and where required, funding to support more challenging inclusion barriers.

We provide free tailored inclusion support to all Australian Government funded services including LDC, FDC, OSHC, Vacation Care, Mobile and Budget Based Funded services and have a network of Inclusion Hubs in Cairns, Townsville, Mount Isa, Mackay, Rockhampton, Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane North, Brisbane South, Logan/Redlands, Toowoomba and Gold Coast.
