Switch 1197 is non-profit organisation, which solely relys on Sponsorships, Memberships and the generosity of the Brisbane community to keep us going. Our aim is to offer the youth of Brisbane an opportunity to get into the radio industry, as well as get in touch with the wider Brisbane community.

SWITCH 1197 AM has a youth focus, but also serves all other community groups within the Brisbane area through the provision of a range of programs and services of a socially responsible nature. This includes news and information, job placement, education and related services, work experience placements and legal advice, combined with a Top 40, Pop and a Dance music format. The station has major coverage of the greater Brisbane metropolitan area.
