The Mt Gravatt Community Centre aims to improve the quality of community life by supporting and assisting individuals and families through services and activities including social, support and self help groups as well as training and educational programs. The Mt Gravatt In Home Respite provides support in the home for frail aged people and their carers in the areas of Upper Mt Gravatt, Mt Gravatt, Mt Gravatt East, Holland Park, Holland Park West, Greenslopes, Wishart, Mansfield, Macgregor, Robinson, Sunnybank (to the train line), Tarragindi and Wellers Hill. Mt Gravatt Home Assist Secure and HACC Maintenance provides support with minor home maintenance for people over 60 or people of any age with a disability. The areas serviced are Greenslopes, Mt Gravatt, Nathan, Wishart, MacGregor, Sunnybank, Stretton, Karawatha, Holland Park, Mt Gravatt East, Carindale, Rochedale, Robinson, Runcorn, Holland Park West, Upper Mt Gravatt, Mansfield, Eight Miles Plains, Sunnybank Hills and Kuraby. Mt Gravatt Emergency Relief Support assists individuals and households in crisis with basic requirements. Must have a pension or health care card with current address. Areas covered are Tarragindi, Greenslopes, Carindale, Mt Gravatt East, Moorooka, Mt Gravatt, Upper Mt Gravatt, Stones Corner, Coorparoo, Sunnybank, Holland Park, Holland Park West, Eight Miles Plains, Wishart, Carina, Mansfield, Buranda.
