Australian Transgender Support Assoc Qld (ATSAQ)

The Australian Transgender Support Association is a non discriminatory self help association that is open for membership by those who genuinely believe themselves to be transgender or who are at any stage of their emergence. Membership $30 a single, $50 a couple. Face to face counselling is available by appointment and support is also available for family and friends of transgenders. Other services include assistance with referrals to appropriate medical services and Centrelink. Monthly social get togethers, last saturday of each month except December. Monthly Newsletters, Discrimination Advice & Representation, also advice on changing names etc.
