About Us

The Australian Air League - Forest Lake Squadron provides cadets with leadership and life skills while encouraging interest and participation in aviation.  The AAL offers children from the ages of 8 - 18 the opportunity to participate in STEM activities such as:

  • Theory of Flight
  • Engineering
  • Gliding and Soaring
  • Meteorology
  • Building Model Aircraft
  • and Flight Simulators


They also have the opportunity for PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT with:

  • Leadership Training
  • First Aid
  • Camp Craft 
  • Ranks and Badge Achievements


Our Cadets also participate in COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES inlcuding:

  • ANZAC Day March
  • Community Service
  • Aviation Expo
