About Us

PCYC is committed to ongoing consultation with Indigenous Communities, leading to the development and delivery of targeted programs that respond effectively to the needs of the 38 Indigenous communities we work closely with. PCYC Indigenous programs continue to achieve physical, social and emotional wellbeing outcomes for participants through our flagship programs; the Indigenous Community Sport & Recreation Program (ICSRP) and the Deadly Alive Program (Suicide Prevention).

The overarching philosophy of PCYC’s Indigenous Programs is to provide a coordinated social development platform in partnership with internal and external partners that create opportunities for Indigenous youth and their families to actively participate in meaningful activities that support healthy lifestyles.
