Community Service Clubs

About Us

There are many reasons why people join Rotary; ask any number of the Rotary Club of Carindale and they will all give different answers. The club members represent a cross-section of the local community’s owners, managers and professionals – so business networking is certainly the focus of some. Others feel the need to ‘give back’ to their community – to have the opportunity for humanitarian service, both locally and internationally. Some enjoy the personal development available; developing confidence within a professional group and improving their public speaking skills. Above all its the fun, friendship and camaraderie that all members of the Rotary Club of Carindale enjoy whilst doing something for somebody else.

This year, the Club is working on four major local community projects as well as sponsoring international schemes and donating a car!. It is hosting an international student, organising the annual billycart festival, running community barbeques and holding a Christmas lunch. The social calendar includes membership evenings, a picnic in the park, cinema night and a Melbourne Cup Eve function at Pacific Golf on 4th November!

The Club meets for breakfast once a week, 7am at Belmont Services Bowls Club, Cnr Creek Rd and Naracott St
Carina. For further details contact Sheila Donaldson on 0457 095 457 or check out Come along and meet us – you’ll be glad you did.
