About Us
The aims of the Australian Scottish Community are:
* To promote the involvement of those with Scottish heritage and to promote and maintain the Scots culture and heritage in Australia.
* To strengthen links between those of Scottish heritage within Australia and worldwide.
* To establish links with kindred organisations and to organise and promote festivals of Scottish nature for the benefit of the entire community.
The Australian Scottish Community (Qld) Inc. meet at (refer diary dates for location) every third Sunday at 1pm. We conduct stalls at Highland gatherings and some other selected events. The stall holds Scottish reference books dealing with origins of Scottish names and localities. We also have a substantial number of tartan swatches on display for browsing once your Clan link has been established. We offer information on Scotland, Scottish Tourism, Scottish websites and also Scottish crafts are available for purchase at most events.
We have strong links with the Scottish program on Radio 4EB with Scottish news, music, recipes and coming events. Turn your dial to 98.1 FM at 2.15 pm on Thursday afternoons for a delightful hour and three quarters of entertainment

Meetings are held at the Brisbane City Council Community Rooms at Josling Street Toowong / Taringa Held on the third Sunday of the month (not December) 12 noon to 3pm.
