Nexus Care

* We exist to help meet the needs of our community by providing quality food parcels through our Fresh Start Food Program and emergency relief assistance.

*A Fresh Start Program membership entitles any household to six (6) parcels within a calendar year, with a minimum of one (1) month between each parcel collection. Each time you collect your food parcel, a contribution of $5 will be required. 

* Parcels include nutritious non perishable items, fruit and vegetables, meat, bread and dairy.

* Nexus Care is open for food parcels on Mon, Tues and Thurs 10am-4pm

* Appointments can be made for Emergency Relief support (eg. bills etc) for those eligible by calling Nexus Care 

* We offer a number of emergency relief options including:

• Vouchers for medication and transport

• In certain circumstances, we may be able to assist with payment of essential bills such as electricity

* This service is offered by appointment only and one-off payments are made to support people living within specified suburbs in the Brisbane North and North West areas who are identified as currently in crisis.
