• Multicultural Advisory Service: provide information about in-home care services in a range of languages; help to frail aged and younger disabled people from CALD backgrounds to access culturally appropriate in-home care • Information forums on HACC services for members of the CALD community •Professional development and training on cross cultural issues for HACC service providers •Community Partners Program (CPP): The Cairns project includes working with the Italian, Polish, German, and Filipino communities in Cairns, Innisfail, and Atherton. This program provides resources to nursing homes and community care service providers of aged care packages to meet the cultural care needs of residents and clients.
