Suited To Success Ltd - Fortitude Valley

Suited to Success Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation helping unemployed men and women throughout South-East Queensland facing barriers to employment develop their employability skills and gain work. We provide them with professional attire for interviews, a network of support, and career development tools to empower them to gain and retain long lasting employment so that they can thrive in work and life.

We are an affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide and offer the Dress for Success Brisbane program for women.  Around 60% of our clients are women.  Since our inception in 2008, we have assisted around 6,000 men and women in their search for a job.  We rely on philanthropic support from individuals and the community and corporate sectors to provide our styling service and employability programs.  Overall around 20% of our clients are successful in gaining a job, with around 70% of clients partipating in our holistic more intensive Steps to Work programs enjoying success.

Our clients come from diverse economic and social backgrounds and are mostly referred from community and employment sector agencies.  Typically clients are seeking work in administration, retail, aged care, hospitality, clerical, cleaning, warehousing, manufacturing, child care and teaching. Many have not worked for many years and some have never worked at all.
