About Us

The Norman Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (N4C) is a not for profit organisation established in 1995 with key members from that time still active now. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the group's aim is to protect and maintain the ecosystems within Brisbane's Norman Creek Catchment.

Norman Creek and its tributaries pass through suburbs such as Mount Gravatt, Holland Park, Tarragindi, Greenslopes, Coorparoo, Camp Hill, Norman Park, Woolloongabba and East Brisbane.  Over the years N4C has established a number of project sites in these suburbs where locals can come and do bushcare or other activities to get involved in caring for their catchment.  Check our Facebook page or email us for event details. We also partner with schools, universities, other catchment groups, Brisbane City Council and other levels of government.

N4C meets on the 1st Monday of Feb, April, June, August, Oct and Dec unless otherwise advised, at 66 Baron St, Greenslopes. We also have bushcare working bees, nursery working bees, baseline ecological monitoring sessions, cleanup days (rubbish removal), talks and presentations.  Currently we are looking for nursery volunteers, ecological monitoring and bushcare volunteers.  Check our website for details.

N4C welcomes new members; you can join at http://www.norman-creek-catchment.org.au/index.php/become-a-n4c-member for $10 per year. Having current financial members helps us to demonstrate the level of interest in the community for the health of our waterways.
