About Us

WMCGG has created Bethania Street Community Garden in Cox Park, Lota, to inspire, share and teach organic gardening skills in the Wynnum-Manly-Lota area.

The garden was started in September 2011 and is operated under a licence from Brisbane City Council.

The garden is open to the public daily between 5am and 7pm and is a 5 minute walk from Lota railway station.

Our garden has over 20 raised beds, a herb spiral and a fruit orchard. The garden also includes rain water storage, large compost system and an undercover meeting area.

Come along, keep the garden growing and learn new skills with our community gardeners. Everyone is welcome!
