About Us

The Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Service (ADAWS) offers residential treatment service for young people aged 13-18 years of age who are dependent upon alcohol, drugs or other substances. Residential program offers relapse prevention and life skills groups, recreational activities, individual and family counselling and support to access practical assistance which includes housing, Centrelink, health and legal. Average length of stay is 11 days. The service is set up in a home like environment.
