About Us

Bowls Queensland is the State administrative body for bowls in Queensland.  Bowls Queensland is made up of over 319 physical clubs (consisting of 319 mens  & 309 ladies) affiliated clubs each with licensed clubhouse facilities and bowling greens for the playing of the sport.  Bowls Queensland co-ordinates club advisory services as well as offering technical and coaching services.  Championship events are conducted for members participation.  Bowls is player 363 days of the year in this state.  Bowls Queensland works closely with Sports Connect which is made up of the Sporting Wheelies, Blind Bowlers Association, Deaf Bowlers Association and Life Stream.  There are state and national championships for these groups.
