About Us

We follow the beautiful flowing waters of Bulimba Creek on the bikeway. Starting from Wishart Community Park shelter area, we head north to Bellbird Crescent (first turnaround) then retrace our steps back past the start. We continue along the Bulimba Creek bikeway and take a sharp right after Faustini Bridge towards Maisie Dixon Park. The second turnaround is at Jorgensen Bridge and then we head back to Wishart Community Park. Facilities There is limited parking right next to the course on Maibry St. Otherwise there is street parking on Maibry St, Greenwood St and Boyanda St. Please be respectful of residents when walking from car to the parkrun start. The nearest toilets are at Stackpole St Dog Park which is 500m from the first turnaround on the course. There are drinking taps along the course. There is a children’s play area at the start of the course but please be aware that we cannot be responsible for your child during the event, there must be adult supervision. Getting There Location of startThe run starts from Wishart Community Park shelter area. Getting there by public transport180 bus leaves from Garden City to the top of Greenwood St, then it is about 1 km walk to parkrun at the bottom of Greenwood St. Translink website has the bus times. Getting there on footThe course is entirely run on Bulimba Creek bikeways, so why not ride your bike to parkrun? Getting there by roadJust 5 minutes from Garden City shopping centre, head along Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd and right into Greenwood C. From the Gateway Motorway take the Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd turnoff and left into Greenwood St. St Johns is on the corner of Greenwood St. At the end of Greenwood St is Wishart parkrun.
