About Us

St Barnabas Anglican Church Red Hill, or St Barneys as it is fondly known by the congregation, has been a part of the local community since its foundation in 1888. One of the oldest wooden church's in Queensland, St Barnabas is full of charm and character, a place where everyone is welcome.

Steeped in tradition, every Sunday morning from 8am the St Barnabas congregation can be found partaking in a traditional Anglican liturgy, including hymns accompanied by the organ. This is followed up each week by a 'cup of tea' in the hall.

Everyone is welcome at St Barnabas, especially families. If you are blessed with small children, there is a play area in the church to keep the little ones occupied whilst remaining part of the service.

If you are looking for a Church to call home, visiting the area, or are just curious, please feel free to come by and visit.

Hall is available for hire
