Oxley Sailing Club

Oxley Sailing Club on the Indooroopilly Reach of the Brisbane River organizes friendly sailing races on Saturdays from September to May, with a break in December and January. The club is open race day afternoons and visitors interested in joining the club are welcome to visit. The club also offers learn to sail courses once or twice a year.The club was established in 1901 when they sailed skiffs.  We now use Pacers for training, groups of junior sailors and family groups.  For juniors sail O'pen Bics and Sabots. Adults mostly sail Lasers and Impulses but other classes can sail as well.  Most members own their own boats but a  limited number are available for hire by members or prospective members.
