The Council Cabs service organises shared taxis at scheduled times for residents who find it difficult to get to their local shops to do essentials such as grocery shopping, banking and using post office services.Ring Black & White Cabs on 3403227 before 12 noon the day before you want to use the service and ask for Council Cabs.  

Council Cabs operates weekly in most Brisbane suburbs. In some areas, services are offered twice a week. The service picks you up from your home and takes you to your local shopping centre.

Each one-way trip costs between $1 and $2.50. This fare is paid to the driver as you board.
