Carinity Education - Southside

Carinity Education Southside is a small community based innovative secondary school model for young women in years 7 - 12 whose needs are not met in traditional school settings. Teachers, youth workers and counsellors work together to respond to both the personal and educational needs of young people. Youth workers, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, offer support to young people and cultural activities are included in the curriculum. Carinity Education Southside has a Family Centre and Creche, so that parenting young women can continue their education.
