Burremah Place Respite Service
Disability Respite and Activity Centres
About Us
Respite has three primary goals. Firstly, to relieve the stress on families or a primary carer in their (often) 24 hours a day, seven days a week care of an aged relative or of a person with disabilities. The second is to allow the frail aged and person with disabilities to achieve and maintain their maximum level of independence. The program strives to improve the quality of life for both the client and the carer. And the third is to avoid premature or inappropriate placement in long term care localities such as aged care facilities.
Quick Facts About The Region
