About Us

Civic Solutions provides intensive employment and training assistance for young people who have left school without completing the senior phase of learning. The aim of the program is to secure work, return to school or to engage in further education and training.

We are accepting referrals now for out programs at Upper Mount Gravatt and Goodna.

Participants on our Get Set for Work program undertake a wide range of learning experiences including:

 Certificate II in Business.

 Job preparation including interview skills, resume writing and job searching.

 Industry guest speakers and work site visits

 Recreation and social activities to develop communication and group cohesion, including a 3 day camp.

 Project Work (i.e. construction of Billy Carts, Badge Making, Music Workshop etc)Learner Licence Preparation.

Aims and objectives

 To assist participants to gain employment or return to mainstream education and training.

 Develop networks with Industry, Training Institutions and Recruitment Agencies

 To assist young people with their own personal growth (goal setting, personal development etc.).
