East Arnhem Region Community

East Arnhem Council has an approximate area of 33,000 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Angurugu, Galiwinku, Gapuwiyak, Milingimbi, Milyakburra, Ramingining, Umbakumba and Yirrkala plus parts of Alyangula and Nhulunbuy.

It is comprised of parts of the localities of Anindilyakwa and East Arnhem.

It is surrounded by the councils of Alyangula, Nhulunbuy, Roper Gulf Region and West Arnhem Region.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Arnhem and Nhulunbuy.

It is within the federal electorate of Lingiari.
