It is comprised of the localities of Ajana, Alma, Binnu, Bowes, Coolcalalaya, East Bowes, Eurardy, Houtman Abrolhos, Kalbarri, Kalbarri National Park, Ogilvie, Sandy Gully, West Binnu, Yallabatharra and Zuytdorp.
It is surrounded by the councils of Chapman Valley, City Of Greater Geraldton, Murchison and Shark Bay.
It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Geraldton, Moore and North West Central.
It is comprised of parts of the Durack federal electorate.
