Active Leisure Centre

Along with Erindale Theatre and Erindale College, Active Leisure Centre makes up the Erindale Educational and Recreation Complex. One of the most diverse health and fitness facility in Canberra, Active Leisure Centre takes pride in the diverse range of programs and facilities offered. No matter what your shape, age, fitness goal or fitness level we have something for you.

Upon walking through our doors for the first time, you will notice the difference. Our 'come as you are' policy has helped our members exercising in a fun, professional and friendly environment. From the warm welcome to the fond farewell on leaving, we endeavour to provide you with a positive and rewarding experience every time you visit. We offer a range of programs, including aquatic sport, fitness activities, general community facilities and educational programs.

Active Leisure Centre understands the challenges of pursuing good health and the apprehension you may have in commencing a program. If you would like to regain or improve your fitness we are presenting a bigger and a comprehensive variety of classes. These classes are designed to enhance your wellbeing, fitness, flexibility, strength and stress management, which will help you to make a smooth transition into your new lifestyle. The centre also provides a safe, relaxing and happy environment for children to play and socialise, while their parents utilise the vast facilities of Active Leisure Centre.

All facilities are available for casual, and a semi-permanent hire for up to 12 months. Hiring facilities ranging from:

• Group Fitness Studios which are perfect for dance or martial arts,
• A 25 metre heated indoor pool and steam room,
• Tennis and Squash Courts,
• Multi-use Sports Hall catering to Indoor Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.
• Private Group Training Facility  for the sporting teams Strength and Conditioning needs
• A multipurpose theatre suitable for an array of functions from large corporate seminars, community group presentations to full mounted musical & theatrical productions.
