About Us

St David's Thrift Shop

Operating for over 30 years, and run by an amazing team of dedicated volunteers, the Thrift Shop is an essential activity of our community outreach. All of the funds raised through the Thrift Shop go to assisting those in our community.  The mission of the Thrift Shop is to support St David’s Neighbourhood Centre, and St David’s Uniting Church, by bringing social benefit and peace to those we connect with in the community. We aim to engage in authentic community relationships and strive for justice and peace for all.

The Thrift Shop provides:

  • Reasonably priced clothing, books, bric-a-brac and household goods;
  • Access to information regarding social programs and support that the Neighbourhood Centre provides;
  • Social connection – we are always ready to provide an ‘understanding ear’.
  • Volunteering opportunities

Donations: We are always seeking donations that are in good, useable condition. Donations can be dropped at the Thrift Shop during business hours, or to the Neighbourhood Centre office.

For Thrift Shop enquiries please contact the Neighbourhood Centre office on 3274 3240.

Open Hours :

Monday to Friday: 9.00am – 2.30pm

Saturday: 9.00am – 12.00pm
